OUR STORY
The pavilion started as a small idea for family time, that ended up taking on a bigger meaning. It was decided that the pavilion was too big and too nice and situated on a beautiful piece of property, it might as well be shared with the world. Owners Gene and Vicki enlisted their daughter, Lindsey Minarcik to spear head the operation and management of the Pavilion.

OUR NAME
The South Texas heat is no joke, and the name of our Pavilion came about as the breeze is a true component of this space! Even on the hottest days of the summer, a breeze fills the covered Pavilion and our Big Ass Fans (excuse my French, but that really is the name of the company!) can create a comfortable, airy feel.
OUR HISTORY
1974-2007
Double J Farm came about in 1974 when Alvin and Dorothy Jupe purchased the property and put the pipe fence and their namesake above the front entrance. The property was used for family gatherings and had a mobile home at the very location the Pavilion now sits.
2007- PRESENT
On May 1, 2007, Gene and Vicki Brehm purchased the 138 acre Double J Farm from Gene’s Aunt Dorothy Jupe. Gene and Vicki Brehm were already running an established cattle operation in Southeast San Antonio, Brehm Farms. In an effort to continue to expand their operation, they added some much-needed space to continue to grow out their herd.

Our brainchild and future plans! We have big dreams for our beautiful property and that entails creating a sense of being. We want Cool Breeze to be a state of mind, a place to relax, enjoy the outdoors, and slow down, all while knowing that you’ll be getting top notch service and amenities.
We’ve worked diligently to create a space that will benefit and complement Cool Breeze Pavilion, adding on the items people need to create a flawless, effortless events and experiences. We will be creating a living quarters that will be available to rent out in addition to the Pavilion or as a stand-alone rental opportunity.
